AED, CPR, and First Aid Training
January 20 @ 9:00 am - 11:30 am
As part of our safety improvement program, ZCD has recently acquired an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) unit. An AED is a device used to treat sudden heart rhythm abnormalities (heart attack) and can be used by people with no medical background. We have contracted with a professional to train interested ZCD members how to use it, as well as to provide additional training in both CPR and general first aid. Details are below.
The class will be held on Saturday, January 20, from 9:00 to 11:30am in the ZCD Community Room. There is no cost to participants. Class size is limited to 15 and is open to ZCD members only. All interested members are welcome. Mountain Staff and other leaders are particularly encouraged to attend. Please register in advance.
