Our events begin precisely on time, and doors will be locked five minutes before the event begins in order to foster an environment of supportive silence in the zendo (practice hall). Please plan to arrive at least ten minutes before the stated start time. Parking can be challenging in our neighborhood, so allow extra time for finding a parking space and walking to the center. Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes—dark, quiet colors are best. Out of care for those with allergies, please avoid perfume or scented products.
Our daily sittings do not require registration, but do register in advance for special events such as beginners’ nights, introductory seminars, all-day sittings, workshops, and classes.

Art Show and Potluck Brunch

Join us on Sunday, August 2, 9:30AM to 11:30AM for our annual Art Show, Potluck Brunch, and Open House. Come celebrate the talents of the artists in our sangha. Enjoy a potluck brunch, while supporting both the artists and the Zen Center through art purchases. Please bring a vegetarian dish to share. All are welcome!

- If you’re interested in showing your art, please use the register button below to sign up.
- Submit up to three pieces. Please label each piece with your name, price and dimensions.
- Size Limit: 36″ w x 72″ l (or smaller)
- 2D work must have wire for hanging (please no saw-tooth hangers).
- Drop off at Zen Center, Forest Room, by July 29.
- The event is a fundraiser for ZCD. Suggested Donation of 50% to the Zen Center for each art sale.
