Metro Caring Food Bank

As part of our commitment—and in alignment with our affiliation with Zen Peacemakers International—we regularly volunteer at Metro Caring Food Bank.

Volunteer Details

• When: Third Thursday of every month
• Where: Metro Caring Food Bank
• Time: 11:45 am – 3:30 pm

At the start of each shift, we gather in the parking lot for a brief Council Circle practice at 11:45 am. The volunteer shift runs from 12:00 noon to 3:30 pm.

Volunteer activities include:

• Unpacking and sorting food
• Stocking shelves
• Checking in/out customers
