The Zen Center of Denver offers authentic Zen practice, training and community to all regardless of income level, with our full schedule of daily meditation offered without set fees or charges. Your support is essential in continuing to develop our programs, maintain our temple and support our teachers and staff. We deeply appreciate your help!

Donations are tax deductible as determined by applicable tax laws. We are a registered 501(c)3 non-profit religious organization.
Bequests
You also may donate to ZCD via your will or living trust (known as a “bequest”). A bequest to ZCD may be made in a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your estate, or the amount of your estate that remains after all other distributions have been made.
If you are interested in making a bequest to ZCD, please consult an estate-advising professional to ensure that your bequest is legally compliant. To assist in the event that you do decide to make such a bequest, ZCD offers the following language to use for
(a) an unrestricted bequest and (b) a bequest which you direct ZCD to use for a particular purpose:
(a) “I give to Zen Center of Denver, a nonprofit corporation [Federal tax ID: 84-1106761] currently located at 1856 South Columbine St, Denver, Colorado 80210, or its successor thereto,_________ [specific amount, percentage of estate, description of property, or residual] for its unrestricted charitable use and purpose.”
(b) “I give to Zen Center of Denver (ZCD), a nonprofit corporation currently located at 1856 South Columbine St, Denver, Colorado 80210, or its successor thereto, _________ [specific amount, percentage of the estate, description of property, or residual]. This gift should be used for_________ [state purpose] if and so long as ZCD determines that the need exists. If ZCD determines at the outset or at a later time that the need does not exist, or no longer exists, or for some reason it is not possible (or prudent) to administer my gift as originally intended, then ZCD may, in its sole and uncontrolled discretion, direct the use of my bequest for a purpose related as closely as possible to that stated above.
