This group utilizes Buddhist ideas to discuss recovery from chemical (drugs and alcohol) and process (overeating, etc.) addictions. Each Wednesday evening we will start with twenty-five minutes of meditation followed by an open discussion. While this is not an AA group, AA principles are welcome and discussed openly. We encourage attendance from anyone needing support in recovery.
Following classic Buddhist principles like the Four Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path, we provide a safe environment to strengthen your recovery and deepen your spiritual life. You don’t have to be an experienced meditator or Buddhist to attend, although this is a great place to learn if interested.
